An aqiqah is traditionally held on the seventh day after the birth, or soon after, with family, neighbours and a full table. Babies keep their own schedule, so the cakes that suit it best are the ones that need the least notice: a signature cake with the baby’s name on top, and gift boxes of syrup sweets for the visitors.
Short notice is the point
A signature cake needs three days’ notice and a gift box five. Choose the date as soon as you know it; the calendar only offers dates Ajsel can genuinely make. A custom design needs ten days, so it suits a baby shower planned ahead better than an aqiqah.
The baby’s name on top

For the visitors
Gift boxes of syrup sweets, hurmašice and şekerpare, keep for days and travel well, so the relatives who visit later in the week get some too. The box of 40 is made for a gathering.
Halal is how the kitchen is built
No gelatin in anything, including stabilisers and fondant. Alcohol-free extracts only. No rum or liqueur in any syrup. Ajsel stands behind it by name, and the whole policy is on the What’s in it page.
The cakes, with their prices
Prices are in CAD and final; no tax is added. A “from” price is a starting point that Ajsel confirms with you before anything is paid.
