A cake for Eid, made the way the table expects.
Eid morning has its own rhythm: the prayer, the visits, the table that fills and refills all day. The cake on it should be halal without a question asked, and should look like it belongs to the day. Ajsel bakes exactly that in Kitchener, and you can order it here with the price in front of you.
Halal is how the kitchen is built
No gelatin in anything, including stabilisers and fondant. Alcohol-free extracts only. Syrups that are sweet and clear, never cut with liqueur. The whole policy is on the What’s in it page, in Ajsel’s own words.
The flavours of the season
Pistachio. Rose and lemon. Orange blossom. Tahini and sesame. Or revani, the semolina cake soaked in lemon syrup that half the Balkans grew up on — in a shape you can put a crescent on.
Two ways to order
A signature cake is one of Ajsel’s set designs in your flavour, with your message on top, ready in a few days. A custom design starts from a published price and is drawn up and agreed with you before anything is paid. For the whole family, the gift boxes of syrup sweets keep for days.
Plan for the moon
Eid’s date moves with the sighting, so the calendar here only offers dates Ajsel can genuinely make. Order a little early and tell us the date you are planning for; if the moon moves it by a day, write to us and we will do what we can.
The cakes, with their prices
Prices are in CAD and final; no tax is added. A “from” price is a starting point that Ajsel confirms with you before anything is paid.
