Having it deleted.
What we hold depends on how you reached us. Here is how to have each kind removed.
If you messaged us on Instagram or Facebook
We keep the conversation — the name Instagram or Facebook shows us, what you wrote, and what was said back — so Ajsel can read it. We don’t collect your profile, your followers or anything else about you.
To have it deleted, send us a message on Instagram or Facebook, or write to hello@ajsel.com, and say you’d like your messages deleted. Tell us which account you wrote from, so we delete the right conversation.
This deletes our copy. Instagram and Facebook keep their own, under Meta’s terms; you can delete those from the app.
If you ordered a cake
Write to hello@ajsel.com from the address you ordered with. We delete everything about you except the record of the sale itself — your name, the date, what you bought and what you paid — which the Canada Revenue Agency requires us to keep for six years after the end of that tax year.
We’ll tell you exactly what we kept and why, rather than just saying it’s done.
If you used the chat on this website
There is nothing to delete. We never stored that conversation: it lived in your browser tab and was gone when you closed it.
What happens next
We do it within thirty days, and write back to confirm once it is done. It costs you nothing, and you don’t need to give a reason.
If you’re not satisfied with how we handled it, you can take it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada — priv.gc.ca, or 1-800-282-1376.
To ask: hello@ajsel.com. The full picture of what we keep, and why, is on Your information.
